The student services organisation Studentenwerk Frankfurt (Oder) provides social, economic, cultural and health services for higher education students in Cottbus, Eberswalde, Frankfurt (Oder) and Senftenberg.

The Studentenwerk runs dining halls, cafeterias and student accommodation, provides various forms of assistance to students, in particular by implementing the federal student loan programme. It also provides advice and assistance in social and cultural matters.
