16.06.2020: Corona pandemic: bridging aid for students in financial emergency situations

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is helping students who are demonstrably in a financial or economic emergency situation owing to the corona pandemic with allowances totalling 100 million euros. They are paid out via the student service organisations – the Studierenden- or Studentenwerk (STW).

Note: You can apply for bridging aid online as of 16th of June 2020 on, from 12 a.m. onwards. However, for technical reasons, we will only be able to process and assess the applications and initiate payments after the 25th of June 2020. Please help us to quickly process all applications by refraining from inquiries at the student service organisations. Thank you!.

Our halls of residence are open. If you are interested, please contact us per mail or phone.

Applications for a place in student accommodation can be submitted online.

 



14.05.2020: The cafeterias in Cottbus and Eberswalde open again

On Monday, May 25th will open the cafeteria at the central campus of the BTU in Cottbus from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the cafeteria at the forest campus in Eberswalde from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m..

 



04.05.2020: Federal Goverment provide a Billion program for Students

The federal government provided a Billion for students living in Brandenburg county who run into debts caused of the Corona circumstances.
The Country Program which should started on 04.05.2020 was canceled.

At first Students can apply in Credit institute KFW a loan with no interest of 650,00 € per Month on 08. Mai 2020 ( for foreign students at 01. June 2020 ) and also the Studentswerke get more resources to increase there own emergency fond.

 



17.03.2020 Due to the  current Corona Situation that Persons increase to infected and the references of the Robert-Koch Institute as well as the  federal government are following determinations inforce of support facilities of Studentenwerk Eberswalde, Frankfurt(Oder), Cottbus and Senftenberg .

 

 

  • The Offices in Frankfurt and Cottbus will be closed for Public and have non visiting hour. Contact us only per Phone and Mail.

  • All Cafeterias have been closed

  • We have no Moving in or changing rooms

  • The Children Care " Anna Frank " in Cottbus have been closed. An emergency care will be audited.

  • The Provision first will be hold till 3th Mai 2020. Other Provision  get renewed after the circumstances.
